We collect the following information during registration: full name, email, phone number (WhatsApp), country, city, education level, university/institution (when applicable), major/course (when applicable), hardest subject (when applicable), and your main difficulty with math or exact sciences. During platform use, we also collect interaction data such as messages sent to the tutor, session history, and performance in flashcards and quizzes.
2. How We Use Data
Your data is used to: personalize the learning experience and AI tutor responses; generate flashcards and quizzes based on your difficulties; process payments and manage your account; send communications via WhatsApp (only with your consent); continuously improve the platform quality.
3. Storage and Security
Your data is securely stored on Google Firebase/Firestore servers, located in the United States. We use in-transit encryption (TLS/SSL) and strict security rules that prevent unauthorized access. Your sensitive personal data (phone, email) is stored in private subcollections with access restricted exclusively to your own account.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following essential services for platform operation: Google Firebase (authentication and storage); Google AI / Gemini (AI tutoring processing — data is sent anonymously); Stripe (payment processing — receives only necessary financial data).
5. Cookies and Technologies
We use cookies and local storage (localStorage) to: keep your login session active; save your language and theme preferences; improve platform performance. We do not use advertising tracking cookies.
6. Your Rights (LGPD/GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data at any time; correct incorrect or outdated data; request the deletion of your data and account; revoke your WhatsApp communication consent; request data portability. 7. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. After requesting account deletion, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except when there is a legal obligation to retain it.
